150 World Leaders, Earth Day & Tulips

On Earth Day, April 22, 150 world leaders converge on UN headquarters to  sign the historic Paris climate agreement, making it the largest single signing of an international agreement in world history (another Earth Day first). On every front, extreme weather is causing cataclysmic disruption and damage while  scientific consensus and data on the health effects of climate change continue to mount.

Dag Hammarskjod Plaza will be on high security on April 21 and April 22, but back to normal on Saturday when police  barricades are removed. Enjoy the tulips in the Katharine Hepburn Garden and check out \”What\’s In Bloom\” on Homepage of this website.
